Don't you find the name relating to some religious place? Yaa, maybe but trust me it was not. It was adventurous and full of treks! In January 2020, we visited this beautiful place right before corona attacked India.

It was a completely unplanned trip for me as I am not a trek person at all. Darshit Purohit founder and organizer of Kadamb the trek and travel organize such short and long trips and treks. One day I saw his post on Instagram of Shoolpaneshwar and decided to go. It was my first ever solo trip so I was excited to meet new people, to feel the adventure yet nervous to go alone.

On the 13th of January around 1:00 a.m., the trip started with almost around 14 people. With lots of fun, Masti and music whole night, we reached there early morning. As we reached there, we saw our campsite on the riverbank. It was a place full of greenery; it was so calm and so peaceful that we can't find it in our daily lives. After reaching there we had our breakfast, and then took a tour of camps and nearby places. We were mesmerized by the beauty of nature around us.

After that we had our Gujarati authentic lunch which was very delicious I must say then we took a rest for a while, had our evening tea and straight went for trekking in the forest. While trekking we came to know a lot about little plants, trees, flowers, their uses. We captured wonderful moments while trekking. Then we came back had our dinner and went for stargazing. Trust me I have never seen such a beautiful sky and never knew what the position of each star says. We see a star as a star until somebody comes along and explain what truly astronomy is. After that we went for night trekking in the jungle which was really scary. But it was fun! We came back and had a chit chat session with bonfire. Then we headed towards our camp for a good night sleep which was another beautiful experience because we were sleeping under the stars.

Next morning we woke up, had our breakfast and went to a natural trail called Dr Shailendra Sinha natural trail. It was a very calm place; we trekked a little there with chirpings of birds. We did bird watching there, learnt about them, kind of ornithology you can say! After that, we went to Ninai waterfall which was very beautiful. We spent quality time there, had a photography session. Then, we came back had our lunch and did some campsite activities like a zip line. After relaxing for a while, with a heavy heart, we had to leave that place. We were not in a mood to leave that place though, but I can say it was the best experience we could ever have.

I can't thank enough to Kadamb trek and travel for organizing small yet very wonderful trip full of adventure. I would love to go again.

I didn't tell you one secret of this amazing journey, which is it was a network free area. Yes, you heard it right!
